An F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the Air National Guard’s 149th Fighter Wing, headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, returns from a training mission April 29 during Coronet Bronco at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. The exercise is a capstone event for the student fighter pilots and evaluates their knowledge and skills before they graduate and proceed to the next phase of their training. The exercise also incorporates many of the home unit’s support personnel, which includes members from maintenance, weapons, logistics, communication, finance and other various other shops.
