One of the distinctive features of the chapel includes 22 stained glass windows and four stained glass fan lights. The stained glass windows and fan lights, installed between 1929-31, commemorate the service of various service members, including those Union veterans who fought in the Civil War and various military units and groups and veterans organizations. Some of the windows are memorials to individuals, including Chaplains Thomas Dickson and Edmund Easterbrook.
