Jeffrey Buchanan, U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) commanding general, said service members need to build a culture of trust in preventing and stopping sexual assault in the military.

Tax center helps service members realize $4.17 million in refunds

Lt. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan (right), commanding general, U.S. Army North (Fifth Army), thanks the volunteers at the Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston Tax Center for their time and service April 20, as Jesse Bolaños, Military Tax Center dirsctor listens. The Tax Center processed more than 2,111 Federal and more than 200 State returns. The tax center was able to reach more than 3,400 clients and returned more than 4.17 Million dollars in the form of refunds to the community. The Tax Center also saved the JBSA-FSH Community more than $434,000 in filing and preparation fees.
