In order to provide relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Presidential Memorandum was issued Aug. 8, 2020, followed by Internal Revenue Service guidance issued Aug. 28, 2020, to temporarily defer the withholding of Social Security taxes for certain individuals beginning Sept. 1 through Dec. 31, 2020.

Session at youth center designed to help students become ‘money smart’
February 13, 2020
A session scheduled this month at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Youth Programs will help their dependents learn the basics of money management as they transition into adulthood. The Money Smarts Youth Rally, set for 4:30-6 p.m. Feb. 26 at the youth center, building 585, allows students to learn about the value of money and how it affects their lives.

Required financial readiness training for Reserve coming in November
November 6, 2019
Beginning Nov. 15, financial readiness training will be required for all Reserve Airmen at defined key points throughout their military career.
