Hypobaric altitude chamber installed at 344th Training Squadron

Members of the 344th Training Squadron Career Enlisted Aviator Center of Excellence and 19th Air Force team pose for a photo in front of a newly positioned hypobaric altitude chamber at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Aug. 25, 2020. The chamber was delivered from Tyndall Air Force Base and will support over 2,300 enlisted aircrew and several hundred permanent party officer and enlisted flyers from across the JBSA community.

Air Force graduates first all non-prior service basic flight engineer class

Nine Airmen graduate from the Basic Flight Engineer Course at the 344th Training Squadron, Career Enlisted Aviator Center of Excellence, as the first-ever class comprised completely of non-prior service students at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, 13 Dec. These new aviators will go on to man crew position on aircraft responsible for monitoring and controlling aircraft systems, computing aircraft performance, calculating weight and balance and cross checking pilot actions.

344th Training Squadron brings Virtual Hanger program to Little Rock Air Force Base
