Base prepares for beautification projects

The 37th Training Wing will host the 2007 Team Lackland Base Beautification Project March 30 and 31.

This annual landscaping development and spring cleaning event is conducted by all base organizations.

These efforts will ensure that our facilities present an enduring and positive first impression to the thousands of students, parents, family members and distinguished visitors that come to Lackland daily.

In order to facilitate this effort, the 37th Civil Engineer Squadron will provide tools and materials such as flowers, plants, mulch, grass seed, power washers, gardening tools and paint, as well as bulk garbage drop off points.

Facility managers may stop by the self help center March 30 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Housing residents may pick up supplies March 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Facility excellence is the responsibility of every Team Lackland member. Every week thousands of family members visit our base to witness the graduation of their loved ones from basic military training.

We are charged to ensure when they leave on graduation day they know they entrusted their loved ones to an Air Force that values excellence in all it does.
