RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas –
More than 2,400 senior master sergeants competed for the U.S. Air Force's top enlisted rank, chief master sergeant, during the 2008 promotion cycle. From that number, only 520 were selected for promotion.
Sixteen Airmen from Team Randolph made the rank that only one percent of all Airmen can earn.
