JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas –
The men and women of the 12th Operations Group received 21 flight evaluations during a no-notice inspection by a team of Air Education and Training Command inspectors from August 13-16.
The inspection team assessed performance and adherence to published standards, rating each pilot "Q-1," the highest aircrew rating. The team also noted 19 commendable areas during the evaluation.
"We are truly Airpower's Blacksmith, and these results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic operations team," said Colonel Morrissey, 12th OG commander, of the group.
"Our Airmen have a real commitment to the mission and a standard of excellence. I'm proud of them and the way they accomplish the mission every day, forging combat power for tomorrow's Air Force. We're focused on building the most effective and efficient aviation training organization in the world!"
