45th Annual Freedom Flyer Reunion

502nd Air Base Wing Public Affairs

The 560th Flying Training Squadron hosts the 45th Annual Freedom Flyer Reunion with events March 22 and 23 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph.

Three Freedom Flights are planned between 1 and 2 p.m. March 22, while official Freedom Flyer Reunion events begin March 23. 

The following is the planned schedule for the Freedom Flyer activities:

Thursday, March 22  
2-3 p.m. - Freedom Flights

Friday, March 23             
10:15-11 a.m. - Wreath-laying ceremony and missing-man flyby formation, Taj Mahal, building 100
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Lunch for Freedom Flyer and Guests, Parr Officers Club
1-3 p.m. - POW Symposium, Fleenor Auditorium, building 100

This year’s wreath-laying ceremony, missing-man flyby and POW symposium are “must-see” events to honor those who did not return, as well as remember the experiences of all those who came home.  We are honored to host this event and look forward to seeing you there.
