Leadership from Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion presented the Citizenship Award to Booker T. Washington Elementary School student Maria Ross May 31. The school is partnered with the unit as part of the Adopt-a-School program. The Citizenship Award is an honor that goes to the student that demonstrates the Army Values and is a good citizen, not only in her school, but in her community as well. The school staff elects the recipient.
