Deputy TRADOC CG visits combat medic training students at METC

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTO, Texas -- Maj. Gen. Glen Moore (right), deputy commanding general, Army National Guard, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, speaks with Army students in the combat medic training program at the Medical Education and Training Campus at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston April 14. Moore observed the students as they trained in the Combat Trauma Patient Simulator, a simulation lab that provides a realistic type of training experience for students learning how to treat trauma wounds on casualties in a combat environment. About half of the students in the combat medic training program are in the National Guard or Army Reserve.
