‘Bundles’ of information give expectant parents head start

The Air Force Aid Society’s Bundles for Babies, a four-hour informational session for expectant parents, is planned for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 5 at the Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Military & Family Readiness Center, building 693. Participants receive a $50 gift card and an AFAS tote.

Safety officials urge members to follow motorcycle regulations

All active-duty service members need to adhere to Air Force Instruction 91-207 that require motorcycle riders to take a basic riding course and wear personal protective equipment. PPE includes a helmet, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket, gloves, trousers, eye protection and footwear.

Joint Base San Antonio Announces Technical Sergeant Selectees

Technical sergeant selectees from Joint Base San Antonio gathered at JBSA-Lackland and JBSA-Randolph for a group photo July 21. There were 319 staff sergeants across JBSA selected out of 33,569 in the Air Force who were eligible, with a total of 7,501 selected for promotion for a selection rate of 22.35 percent.
