IMCOM Soldier advances to final level of Best Warrior Competition

Spc. Bryce Falgiani, a San Antonio native, completed a rigorous obstacle course as one of the events during the Best Warrior Competition. He is advancing to the final level in October where he will compete against Soldiers from all over the world.

Since January 2017, when OPAT was rolled out to recruiting stations, officials believe the test has significantly reduced attrition among trainees and as a result has prevented the Army from wasting millions of training dollars.

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command’s Computer Crime Investigative Unit, or CCIU, is warning the military community to be on the lookout for the “Virtual Kidnapping” hoax. The scam occurs when an unsuspecting person receives a call and the caller immediately says, “I’ve kidnapped your kid. Send money or the kid dies,” or some similar version of the call.
