JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - The Chapman Training Annex name will officially be unveiled during a ceremony March 4, 2020, with U.S. Air Force Vice chief of Staff Gen. Stephen A. Wilson as the keynote speaker. The ceremony will be streamed live on the U.S. Air Force Facebook page at 10 a.m. Previously called the Medina Training Annex, the annex located right outside of JBSA-Lackland is being renamed to honor the Medal of Honor recipient and Air Force combat controller killed in action during the Battle of Takur Ghar, Afghanistan in 2002.
